What first got you into music?

Well...music has really been part of my whole life. I was destined to be a performer to be honest! From the minute I was born I loved being in front of the camera, dancing, singing, being on stage! It was all in me and it came very naturally. I was very EXTRA! Lol. I started singing at a very young, I was only 3. I was on a tv show called Al Alberts TV Showcase on ABC in Philadelphia. I sang a different song on the tv show every week and told a joke. Then I kept singing and auditioning and I got cast at 6 years old to play the role of Gretl in The Sound Of Music on Broadway. My music career really started taking off when Radio Disney started playing music on their radio station and I was selected as one of their Incubator Artists which was for up-and-coming artists.

How would you describe the music that you typically create?

Pop/urban with a lot of different flavors of me. I have a soulful voice, so I like to incorporate that in my sound. I’m very diverse so I like to create my own style and sound together that really makes it me no matter what type of song I’m working on.

What is your creative process like?

It’s always different to be honest Lol. I don’t like to overthink it too much until the tedious parts. I feel the best creative things come naturally and organically. Typically, I have an idea on a song or direction I want to go/ write in and an idea of a track/melody. Sometimes, I just pick a track get in the booth and start freestyling melodies, then write. It all really just depends. Either way, as an artist I really love being hands on in the creative process all the way, even visually.

Who would you most like to collaborate with?

Man...I have SO many people I want to collab with!! Lizzo, Saucy Santana, Bia, Cardi B, Post Malone, Drake, Bruno Mars, J Balvin, Becky G, Jack Harlow, Burna Boy..the list goes on and on!! LOL.

If you could go open a show for any artist who would it be?

Ah, so many for this one too!! I’d have to say Justin Bieber, Lizzo, and Jack Harlow.

What has been the best performance of your career so far?

I would have to say opening for Demi Lovato. The fans and crowd were SO amazing!! They chased me to my car LOL. I sold out of all my merchandise, and they waited in the pouring rain. It was definitely a memory. Also, most recently performing at NYC Youth Pride this past June! It was my first festival performance and debut performance of my new single “SAUCY”! I loved meeting the fans.

What is one message you would give to your fans?

Never give up!! You can do anything you set your mind to and work hard at!

Which famous musicians do you admire?

Madonna, Whitney Houston, Aretha Franklin, Mary J Blige, Beyonce, Gwen Stefani, Rihanna, Christina Aguilera, JLo, Billie Eillish, Ryan Tedder. So many more Lol.

What is the one thing every song must have for it to be solid?

In my opinion, a really strong hook and a great mix!

What is your main goal in your music career?

To INSPIRE!! I want my fans to feel like they can connect to myself, my lyrics, and my music. I want them to feel something. I want to become a household name someday and be able to branch out using my platform and become an entrepreneur and do many other amazing things in this industry. Songwriting and collaborating for and with other artists are goals of mine as well. Oh…I hope to win a Grammy someday too! ;)

What separates you from other singers?

My drive, determination, focus, and all around diversity as an artist. I have my own unique flava and vibe, I’m different.

What is your dream venue to perform at?

Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, the big arena in South Jersey where I grew up, as well as Madison Square Garden and the Hollywood Bowl.

When performing and the crowd is singing along, how does that energy make you feel?

It’s THE BEST feeling in the world!!! Something I can’t describe. I get emotional when I see and feel this energy from a crowd! It means the world to me. There’s no better feeling. I recently felt this when I performed at Pride in NYC.

Have you ever participated in any music competitions? Did you win any prizes?

I was on CBS Star Search in 2004. I sang Happy Days Are Here Again by Barbara Streisand. I won my round and then lost by 1 point in the next round.

Do you have any advice for anyone wanting to sing as a career?

Practice, practice, practice. Work hard and be yourself, that’s most important!
