What has been your favorite campaign to work on so far?

I have been modeling for Body Glove company for almost 10 years and it is still my favorite client, they have become a big part of my life, it’s an exceptional team to work with!

How do you handle criticism and pressure in the fashion industry?

Criticism and pressure are inevitable in the fashion industry. I handle criticism by seeing it as an opportunity for growth and focusing on constructive feedback. My equestrian experience has taught me focus and resilience, which helps me manage pressure. Practices like mindfulness and staying grounded in my passions, such as spending time with my horse, keep me balanced. A positive mindset and a supportive team are key to thriving in high-pressure environments.

How do you decide which projects or brands to collaborate with?

The brands that represent my values and my interest would be on top of my list, also the people that I work with is the most important aspect. I’d like to feel inspired and to make a difference in people’s lives.

What advice would you give to aspiring models?

1. Stay Confident: Believe in yourself.

2. Self-Care: Maintain a healthy lifestyle.

3. Build Your Portfolio: Invest in quality photos.

4. Network: Connect with industry professionals.

5. Be Professional: Be punctual and respectful.

6. Handle Rejection: Learn from it.

7. Stay Informed: Follow industry trends.

8. Find a Good Agency: Partner with a reputable one.

What’s your perspective on sustainable fashion?

Sustainable fashion is key for reducing environmental impact and promoting ethical practices. It focuses on eco-friendly materials, fair labor, and waste reduction, benefiting both the planet and the industry.

What’s one myth about modeling you’d like to debunk?

One myth about modeling I'd like to debunk is that it's an easy, glamorous job. In reality, it requires hard work, discipline, and resilience. Models face long hours, intense schedules, and constant scrutiny.

What are your hobbies outside of modeling?

I live on a ranch in Texas, so we have lots of dogs, horses, cows, so taking care of the animals, as well as traveling and exploring the world any chance I get!

What has been your most challenging shoot location and why?

Any outdoor location has its challenges, but most difficult in a fun way was in Idaho, for Body Glove campaign, we were shooting on paddles boards at 5 am in a 45 degree weather, and freezing water, with no cell service, with gushing wind in the mountains, while being in a bikini with a smile on my face! We also had to jump off cliffs into the lake, and paddle for hours!

What’s your favorite piece of fashion advice?

My favorite piece of fashion advice is:

"Wear what makes you feel confident and comfortable."

Fashion is a form of self-expression, and when you feel good in what you're wearing, it shows. Confidence is the best accessory you can wear, and it can make any outfit radiate that energy from within!

Can you describe a photo shoot or fashion show where horses played a significant role in creating a captivating and dynamic visual experience?

Horses and the beach! My favorite experience was when we shot a commercial campaign at the beach with a gorgeous Friesian stallion named Kronos, he was very intense but we had an amazing connection and I ended up taking the saddle off him, going bareback, and we galloped through the waves, while the camera crew followed us on the ATV.

Can you describe a fashion collaboration or campaign that allowed you to showcase your skills as an equestrian and model simultaneously?

When I do shoots with equestrian catalogs, it’s always a fun project because it all revolves around horses and usually people that are on set are all equestrians as well.

Can you describe a fashion editorial or campaign that captured the essence of your dual identity as a model and equestrian?

I have done a cover issue for a Natural Horsemanship Magazine with my horse Santiago, and that was a pinnacle for us, as a team, to show everyone how modeling and having a connection with your horse can be combined and hopefully inspiring to other people!

Can you share a personal mantra or philosophy that guides your modeling career as an equestrian?

Absolutely! My personal mantra is: "Ride with grace, live with purpose."

This philosophy guides my modeling career in the equestrian world by emphasizing the importance of elegance in both riding and life, while also staying true to one's passions and goals.

It reminds me to always embody poise and determination, whether I'm in the saddle, at a photoshoot, or navigating everyday challenges.

How do you use your modeling career as a platform to raise awareness about the importance of animal welfare and responsible horsemanship?

Using my modeling career to advocate for animal welfare and responsible horsemanship is a deeply personal mission for me. Horses have always been a part of my life, teaching me about companionship and respect.

Photo Shoots with Purpose: Including horses in my photo shoots with respect and genuine care helps convey the importance of treating animals kindly. I often ride bareback and bitless, showing a deeper connection with my horses.

Educational Content: I share tips on proper care, training, and the ethical treatment of horses to inspire better care.

Leading by Example: Every interaction with my horses is an opportunity to model responsible behavior, hoping to inspire others by showing genuine love and respect for these animals. Horses have been a significant part of my journey, and advocating for their well-being is my way of giving back to these incredible creatures.

What is the ultimate message or feeling you want to convey to the audience when they see you embody the spirit of both a model and an equestrian?

As a model and equestrian, I strive to embody elegance, strength, and grace. I want to inspire confidence, showing that true beauty lies in balancing resilience and poise. My goal is to evoke admiration for my dedication to both fashion and horsemanship, encouraging others to embrace their talents and pursue their dreams with determination. This journey highlights the importance of versatility and self-belief.
